Granoro’s range of rice includes some of the oldest, most noble varieties in Italy: Carnaroli and Baldo, and now Ribe Parboiled, for consumers looking for rice with better cooking properties.
Granoro rice is produced using a completely natural production process, because it uses only mechanical processes to clean the rice, transforming it from its unrefined state to white rice, without any chemical substances.
Granoro rice does not need washing before it is cooked. It continues to cook even after the heat has been turned off, especially in the presence of liquid. Granoro rice can be kept in the fridge for a few days if it has been cooked in salted, boiling water for half of its cooking time.
There is no need to cook it any further, just reheat in boiling water or stock when needed. To enjoy the rice at its best, we recommend using the recipes printed on the packets or in the recipe collection for Granoro Rice.
Despite its high nutritional value, rice is extremely light and does not weigh down the digestive system. It is gluten free and is therefore suitable for people who are intolerant to the protein.
